POV: Kiara
"Good Morning Maan," I sprinkled water dripping from my hair on his gorgeous, glowing face.
He suddenly pulled my wrist, making me land on his hardcore chest, uff.
"What did you call me?" he asked in his morning husky voice.
"Umm... Maan, it sounds cute," I said looking anywhere but him.
"Hmm, now if someone else called me that, I sure would have thrown punches at their face but somehow Maan sounds good from your mouth so you're the only one who can call me that, okay," he ceased my cheeks lovingly. Can this guy get any more cute?!
"Okay now chalo (let's go), we have to go remember, it's Maha Shivratri Patidev," I said while messing up his already messed up hair and getting out of his grip to run away.
"Yar, it's only 8, come back here baby, we can go later," he pouted while I showed my tongue out at him.
"Armaan get up or else I won't do the puja with you, I'll do it with anyone but you so yo-" I was cut off from my sentence when I was gently pinned on the wall.
"You will only do puja with me or no one, I have my claim on you and no one and by no one can replace me, get that in your pretty little brain sweetheart," he said while gently hiding his face in the crook of my neck.
"Now say that you only belong to me," he whispered in my ear.
I wanted to play with him so I decided not to say a word, let's see what you do Mr Mehra, but that didn't last long as Armaan pinched my waist making me gasp.
"I'm not going to leave you until you say it," I could feel him smiling while still hiding his face in the crook of my neck but I shook my head in denial.
He then suddenly bit the skin on my neck harshly while also pinching my waist which caused me to moan out loud.
"Say it," this time it sounded more like a command rather than a request.
"I'm yo-your-" I began,
"Yes, keep going," he hummed.
"I'm yours, Armaan, I only belong to you," I finally managed to say.
"Good," he was still creating his torturous but pleasurable art on my neck.
"Kiara, Armaan, hurry we have to go," Ma shouted from outside the room and I immediately parted from Armaan causing him to pout. Thank god she didn't come in or else she would've been traumatised seeing this brilliant view.
"We need to hurry, now put on this sherwani!" I handed him the sherwani.
"A sherwani? You've got to be joking me, it's so irritating and itchy," he pouted.
"No, I'm not joking, now go hurry up and wear it," I almost screamed.
"Calm down tigress, don't you think I should get a reward?" he came closer to me while I pushed him and ran out of the room.
POV: Armaan
I couldn't control myself from pinning Kiara to the wall. She looked too tempting.
She was wearing a green sari, with oxidised jhumkas, light makeup and wet hair.
We were having a great time when Ma had to interrupt our session. What's with ki's family obsession with disturbing our sessions? She quickly parted from me making me pout.
"We need to hurry, now put on this sherwani!" She said while handing me a dark green sherwani. I know it would make me look hot and all but it's too uncomfortable. I suffocate when I wear such things.
"A sherwani? You've got to be joking me, it's so irritating and itchy," I once again pouted.
"No, I'm not joking, now go hurry up and wear it," she almost screamed.
"Calm down tigress, don't you think I should get a reward?" I came closer to her while she pushed me and sped out of the room. Uff.
Just then I heard a ping* on my phone. I looked at my phone to find a notification from Naina.
Naina:
'Today, don't forget!'
Shit, I did forget. I looked at the time and it was already 9 am. Shit, I need to actually fully get ready.
I went into the bathroom and did my morning routine then hopped in the shower to take a warm quick shower. I gotta look the best for Ki.
...
The car came to a halt when we arrived at the temple. Kiara quickly got out of the car with the puja thali while I, ma, that monkey and that dick fuck Aarav all followed her in. I don't even know why he's here.
I looked at the statues of Shiv and Parvati. They both looked like the definition of love, and eternal, an inspiration for all.
Kiara looked at me, "would you like to know their backstory," she asked while I nodded. I seriously did not know what was happening to me. If she found it important then I guess it's important for me too.
"Maha Shivratri is the most auspicious day, this is the day of a divine marriage of Shiv and Parvati. It is also believed that on this day, Shiv performed a very holy dance called the Tandav..." She continued with her story while I listened peacefully. "And this is why I wanted to take blessing for the new start of our marriage," she ended while I smiled.
The puja started and everyone started praying but I didn't know what to do. Kiara understood so she held both my palms and put them together, just like how everyone was doing. "Close your eyes and let the melody sink into you while also recalling everything you are grateful for," she said and she herself did the same.
I couldn't close my eyes, she looked too tempting. Throughout the whole puja, my eyes were just glued to her. All I was grateful for was for her to come into my life. "Thank you so much, Bhagwan (god) for bringing a goddess like Kiara into my life. I am so grateful and I value her a lot. I will never take her for granted. Please give us a blessing for our new fresh beginning in this marriage. Please forgive my sins," I prayed.
The puja ended and Kiara's eyes snapped open. She looked at me, "So how was it?" She asked.
"Peaceful," I replied while smiling.
The priest came towards us to give us Prasad. The priest looked at me. Kiara gently brought my right hand out for the priest to put some in. But I quickly jerked my hand out. "I don't eat such stuff, it's not good for my health," Kiara gave me a deadly glare, making me gulp. "You can't say no to Prasad," and she again brought my right hand out and the priest put some in.
He came a bit closer to me and whispered, "I know you're fasting for your wife and that's why you're not eating this but I suggest you give the prasad to someone who doesn't have it. You will get another sort of blessing," he said with a smile. Now how did this guy know? This morning Kiara never had breakfast, nor did I as we both made an excuse of "running late" and I also overheard Ki talking about fasting with Ma. I would've stopped her because I didn't want her to fall sick but she was so excited and eager about it therefore I left it and decided to fast as well.
Kiara pulled me down to touch the priest's feet while the priest put his hand on both Kiara and my head. "May Lord Shiva and Parvati shower their blessing on your marriage and bless you will happiness, glory, prosperity, and peace," and with that, he left to bless other couples.
"Shall we leave princess?" I asked.
"Nope, we still have to donate to other god's children," she said excitedly while pointing towards something.
I looked where she was pointing, they were all poor people begging for some change.
"The poor people?" I asked.
Kiara lightly punched me on the shoulder, "No one is poor nor rich. We are all the same. We all are god's children, we all have a heart, we all breathe, we all are the same. We use the term poor when a person is low in personality," she started explaining to me.
Haye, my cinnamon is so caring and cute.
Kiara started handing out boxes of sweets to them while I quickly shared some prasad with the kids playing nearby.
"We can now leave. You must be hungry," she cupped my face.
"No, I'm not hungry, but you must be. Let's go to a restaurant... no let's go eat some street food. You like street food right?" I decided to tease her a little.
"Umm... no I'm not hungry, I'll eat later," she turned red.
"Saying no to street food?" I raised an eyebrow.
She licked her lips and looked away. I pulled her towards me, making her land on my hard chest, "so why didn't you have Prasad?" I questioned.
"Umm," she couldn't find words.
"Umm, umm, umm my dear little wifey is fasting for me isn't she," I smirked. Wow, that actually felt good saying. I mean damn my wife is fasting for me. First time in so many years someone is doing something for me and that to for my well-being.
"No, I'm not," she looked down.
"Oh, then for who are you fasting for?"
"For my husband," she smirked.
"And who is your husband ma'am?" I raised my eyebrow.
"For an arrogant, rude jerk," she gave an evil grin.
"Uff, if he's arrogant, rude and a jerk, then why are you fasting for him?" I questioned.
"Because he's mine," she tried to run but I caught her wrist in time and pulled her back making her back hit my chest, "and you're mine," I whispered.
...
"What do you want Naina?" I asked in a very annoyed tone as I sat in front of her. I had just dropped Ki and her family back home and made an excuse saying I had some kind of work at the office. As usual, Ki said, "Be back soon," which again caused butterflies in my stomach. But now I was in a café with my heartless and poor ex-girlfriend. To be honest I don't even know why I'm here.
"I know your pissed at me but trust me my justification is reasonable," she said with moist eyes.
"Cut the act and tell me your stupid justification," I barked.
She sighed, "Do you remember that day? The day when you were asking me to live with you but I had to make up some lame excuse to reject you." (Chapter 7)
"Of course, I remember. The day you broke me into pieces, the day where I stopped believing in love," I rolled my eyes. Yes, I did indeed stop believing in love but Kiara has a different effect, it's like she's bringing back that old belief in love. Although, I'm starting to realise that maybe I never loved Naina, because if love is how I feel with Kiara then it means I never loved Naina, I guess she was just an attraction.
"Well, I was forced to do that... by no other than your... your dad," she said looking into my eyes, while my eyes widened. I didn't want to believe her but then I remembered how he was confident that I was going to say no. Did he actually force her?
"I know Armaan, it may be hard for you to believe me but trust me. Remember when I received that phone call while talking to you that day?"
I nodded my head, of course, I remember everything.
"It was your dad, he was threatening me. He said that if I don't leave you he will destroy my whole family and as you know my family is already so poor, I can't see them living on the streets so I had to sacrifice my love," tears were now flowing down her cheeks. She moved her hand on top of mine, "I know you must be angry right now but believe me. You can even ask your dad."
I jerked my hand away from her, "I don't fucking care, you still cheated on me," I shouted but not too loud for people to hear.
"Oh, and you are such a saint," she rolled her eyes. "I didn't cheat on you that day, I only did that for you, only for you. So you can get over me. So you can hate me, so you can move on with your life with your wife," now she started sobbing, pathetic.
"So, why are you back?" I snapped.
"Because I can't stay away from you! I tried Armaan, I really tried to move on but I just couldn't. I still love you and it's a fact that can not be changed no matter what. I'm here to take you back. I can't breathe without you, Armaan. Life is just too complicated now. I miss you too much and I know you miss me just as much. Can we please start this all over again? Please, Armaan! I'm not the villain here!" she begged.
"And what about my Kiara," I looked at her with angry, red eyes.
"Your Kiara? You guys have been together for what two months and she's already 'your' Kiara? did you even love me? You moved on so fast! You know what it's okay, I don't think she even loves you. I mean it's only been around a couple of months, right? Just leave her and come to me we can be-" I cut her in between when I stood up from my chair aggressively, making people turn towards us.
"Enough, enough with your stupid bullshit! I don't believe a word you said, and I am not going to leave Kiara! Kiara is my life now and I can never leave her. So stay the fuck away from me!" Saying that I barged out of the cafe.

"It's okay, our work is done. The storm has just started, wait for the tornado to hit," a man wearing a formal black suit rested his hand on Naina while looking at Armaan's disappearing figure.
"My acting skills are on top, don't you think I should've been an actress?" Naina flipped her hair.
"For that, you need talent which you clearly don't have, so peacefully listen to me or go rot in hell," with saying that the man disappeared with a smirk on his face, happy that his plan was now in action.
